An Introduction to our Commercial Bureau Service

The FastPay Commercial Bureau Service will save you the initial outlay on expensive Bacs software and the often overlooked on-going support, licensing and upgrade fees.

FastPay’s Commercial Bureau Service will normally work out considerably more economical than handling the processing on your own through your bank. Furthermore, FastPay will remain completely invisible to your customers.

One of the advantages of using our Bureau service is that collected funds will pass directly from your customers’ accounts into your account without having to sit in a client trust account for a couple of days until they are cleared.

Another advantage of using FastPay to process Direct Debits or Credits on your behalf (Indirect Submitter) is that the process of applying to your bank is considerably cheaper, quicker and more efficient than managing your DD Scheme in-house (Direct Submitter).

How does this all work?


Your bank will need to link your Service User Number to our Bureau Number; this normally takes less than 24 hours for your bank to complete.


We will provide you with the necessary templates and documentation that you will need for your Bacs Payment Scheme (Debits or Credits) including a professionally designed and personalised Bacs approved Direct Debit Mandate in paper form and/or an online version.


We will prepare and submit all your Bacs AUDDIS, Collection and/or Payment files, and instruct Bacs to process them on the day of your choosing.


Direct Debit collections are transferred directly from your customer’s bank account into your business account on the day of collection. Direct Credit payments are transferred directly from your business account into your payee’s account on the day of payment.


Full access to your Bacs reports directly from the Bacs website using your unique username and password that will keep you updated at all times with regard to any bounces, cancellations etc.
